This was probably released a few months ago but Im just now finally getting around to addressing it. There was little art direction on this job. As some of you how watch the show know there is no texture on Murderface's er face. I used a high rez photo of a femure bone which seemed to work nicely as a texture. Plus a little bevel filter here and there for the little imperfections.Labels: adult swim, Cartoon Network, frisky dingo, Illustration, murder face, photoshop, texture
Yet another period of time has lapsed since the last time I put any work up on this blog. But as in life all things must end. Here's some stuff I did for my colleague Ken Lashley who provided pencils. I'm posting a black and white version because that was how I originally intended it to look but changes were made at the last minute.
This is a segment from a larger piece that I will post sometime in the newyear. I was laughing the whole time I worked on it.Labels: Human Giant, MTV, photoshop
San Diego Comic Con. Seeing and meeting all my contemporaries and childhood idols was a very inspiring experience. My inspiration has been renewed and I vow to return next year as a vendor. My flight home was delayed about 4 hours so I did a little doodling with my new set of warm gray Copic markers.Labels: marker
